Job Description
The QA Manager owns the quality of deliverables, ensuring test cases exist and are properly executed. This role requires technical knowledge to enhance technical delivery quality, including test coverage, unit testing, and integration testing. The manager joins the product life cycle, defining quality KPIs and gauging the quality of release procedures and tests. Responsibilities include monitoring testing processes, owning test case management tools, ensuring software meets customer expectations, and adhering to release management procedures.
The QA Manager conducts internal audits, provides quality assurance expertise, collects metrics on releases and client management, and supports training development. They own documentation, ensure client satisfaction, and gatekeep releases for maximum quality. Requirements include 8+ years of QA or release management experience in financial services, experience with test case management tools, excellent communication skills, and a product mindset. In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies is essential.
