Job Description

Manage all aspects of a graduate student caseload, including file review, application processing, verification, and awarding, in accordance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines. Counsel prospective and enrolled graduate students on all aspects of financial aid, ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Respond to inquiries and concerns promptly and facilitate issue resolution. Manage Title IV awarding, including Federal Direct Loans and TEACH Grant, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records for audits and program reviews. Assist with report creation, communication management, and troubleshooting, and offer technical assistance to the Director as needed. Develop and implement communication strategies for the Graduate Financial Aid unit and serve as a liaison to key university offices. Perform data analysis and make recommendations for improvement, and assist in the management of technology and resources to streamline processes and service to students. Participate in the recruitment of prospective graduate students and provide financial aid presentations.
