Associate Director, CMC Program Management

The Associate Director of CMC Program Management will report to the Senior Director, CMC Program Management. The ideal candidate will partner with the Vice President, Manufacturing Operations to oversee and execute on CMC commercial, lifecycle management, and preclinical activities at Vera. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-directed, flexible, and able to manage the workload to meet programmatic milestones. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and tracking project timelines, coordinating commercial supply readiness and next generation process development activities, and acting as a liaison between the CMC team and external partners. This role also involves supporting CMC Subteam and other governance forums, managing the CMC budget, providing CMC project management support, and proactively tracking and managing activities at vendors. Candidates should have a BS/MS degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, 8 years of biotech experience, and 5 years of CMC program management experience.
