Security Operations Engineer

Who We Are:

• We deploy powerful AI agents in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely.
• We're starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses, and our agents are already embedded across departments interacting with millions of students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day operation of our centralized logging/SIEM — investigate alerts, create detections, and build runbooks.
• Drive vulnerability management end to end across our stack and harden cloud environment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own security-critical IT surface including endpoint hardening and core SaaS app security.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on work with security technical controls, ideally alongside strength in IT operations and/or security compliance.
• Hands-on experience running a SIEM as a living system and experience with real audits like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• A calm, process-driven, and people-first approach with a habit of writing things down.
