Senior Structural Engineer

What you'll do:

• Serve as the technical authority for structural design of Giga's modular data center product line and site infrastructure.
• Own the Structural Plan of Record (POR), ensuring Risk Category IV compliance while optimizing for Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA).
• Stamp drawings, manage peer reviews, and develop standardized structural templates to compress engineering cycle time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced static and dynamic analysis on modular steel enclosures and design foundations and equipment supports.
• Conduct seismic analysis per ASCE 7-22 for high-seismic zones and ensure code compliance (IBC, ACI 318, AISC 341).
• Maintain the Structural Revit model, coordinate with MEP disciplines, and manage third-party reviews.

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; 6+ years in industrial or mission-critical facility design.
• Expert-level proficiency in RISA-3D, SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro; advanced Revit Structure and Navisworks skills.
• Deep knowledge of ASCE 7, AISC 360/341, and ACI 318; experience with both steel and concrete systems and DfMA principles.
