Child and Family Remote Support Worker

The Remote Area Families Service (RAFS) program is seeking a passionate and autonomous worker to join our Remote Area Child and Family Services Team, servicing Emerald and surrounding areas. Your commitment to the role will explore the dynamics of working with our vulnerable clients in communities focusing on supporting early childhood development, parenting resilience and mobile services to communities. Develop and implement programs to strengthen family relationships, implement early intervention and prevention activities. Enhance and support increased First Nations/ Multicultural community participation and family functioning. Providing information, advice and referral pathways. Understanding the role is predominantly delivered in remote locations, resulting in approximately 60% of work hours spent travelling.
