Staff Engineer: Ledger and Recon

Seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our ledger and reconciliation systems as part of Settlements team. This is a foundational role in our journey to handle multi-billion-dollar monthly volumes with uncompromising accuracy, visibility, and resilience. You will be responsible for architecting ledger platform for multiple currencies, banks, and geographies, with deep integration into our event-sourced infrastructure. This is a high-ownership, in-office Bangalore position where correctness, performance, and observability are paramount. Key responsibilities include Ledger Architecture & Development, Reconciliation Engine, Scalability & Performance, Observability & Reliability and Collaboration. You must have 7–9 years of backend engineering experience with Rust, Go, and/or TypeScript and deep expertise in PostgreSQL, event-sourcing, and high-throughput financial systems.
