Network Security Engineer (SME)

AnaVation is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer (SME) with a strong understanding of systems infrastructures to support a high priority work program. The successful candidate will have experience developing and maintaining systems, networks, and infrastructure within federal government environments and following Agile processes using the SAFe framework.Key responsibilities include adding and managing nodes in Splunk and Riverbed for monitoring purposes, updating monitoring tools using Ansible, interacting successfully with both program leads and partners to ensure objectives are completed on-time and managing information technology security, including backups, firewalls, and routers. This position is mostly remote, but may potentially require occasional trips to our customer location in Clarksburg, WV.
