The Information Security Analyst is responsible for operations and administration of the organization’s enterprise security solutions and processes, investigates and responds to enterprise security events and requests, and performs network security monitoring and incident response.

The candidate will be responsible for network redesign, service communication setup, network landing zone configuration, firewall policy migration, balanced service migration, VPN SSL access migration, and DNS provisioning in Infoblox and Active Directory.

NBCUniversal’s Cyber Threat Operations team is responsible for providing cyber threat intelligence, event monitoring, response, and threat hunting. As a member of the Cyber Response team, a candidate can utilize their technical expertise to assess, contain, and remediate cyber threats. The Sr Incident Responder is also an escalation point for security alerts from the security event analysts.

Primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining the enterprise network, which includes corporate and regional LAN, WAN (SD-WAN), Internet access, and Wi-Fi, along with overseeing IT security and safety of the computing environment from any types of internal/external and cyber threats. This role will be based remotely in Canada.

This role supports 24x7 monitoring and response operations by identifying, validating, and escalating potential security incidents. Working as an active member of the Security Operations Center (SOC), the specialist uses SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection tools to distinguish between benign activity and legitimate threats, ensuring accurate triage and timely containment actions.

In this role, the consultant will provide expert support, research and analysis of exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to them. Serves as technical expert to the Cybersecurity Assessment Program providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives to complex problems. Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills.
