Senior Backend Software Engineer

Build backend systems in a modern monorepo. Work hands-on in a TypeScript + Node.js codebase, designing and developing backend services that power APIs, job schedulers, and index calculation engines. Write clean, testable code that supports both real-time and batch processing. Redesign and scale the job orchestration framework to create a fault-tolerant system supporting cron-like scheduling, DAG-based dependencies, and cross-language compatibility. Maintain and evolve the data pipeline, ensuring data integrity and quality for critical analytics purposes. Collaborate directly with leadership to scope, prioritize, and ship improvements to internal tooling and backend systems. Drive reliability and operational excellence by monitoring system performance and contributing to observability practices. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
