THE ROLE:
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with laboratory scientists and AI Infrastructure Engineer to turn breakthrough chemistry into working software.
- Build AI tools used daily, applications for molecule discovery, and digital twins of scaling processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DESIGN AND BUILD:
- Implement and extend AI tooling across the company, taking LLM-powered workflows from prototype to production grade.
- Partner with scientists to build applications for candidate screening, enzyme and pathway data exploration, and experiment planning.
- Develop process digital twins for simulation, optimization, and scale-up decisions.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:
- 4–8 years of professional software engineering experience with strong general-purpose programming skills (Python and/or TypeScript).
- Experience supporting the full lifecycle of production software and building applications that consume LLMs and modern AI APIs.
- Comfort working with scientific or numerical data and ability to work directly with non-engineers.
