We are seeking a highly experienced Hydraulic Physical Modelling Expert to lead the planning, design, execution, and interpretation of complex hydraulic and sediment transport physical modelling studies.
The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in hydraulic engineering, physical modelling, mobile bed models, and interdisciplinary collaboration with hydrologists and hydraulic specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, design, calibration, and operation of hydraulic physical models for river, coastal, estuarine, and hydraulic structure projects.
Design and oversee fixed-bed and mobile bed models to assess hydraulic performance, sediment transport, scour, erosion, deposition, and morphological evolution.
Collaborate with geomorphologists and hydrogeomorphologists to assess river processes and channel stability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Hydraulic, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
Master's degree or PhD preferred in Hydraulic Engineering, Geomorphology, Hydrogeomorphology, Sediment Transport, or related field.
10+ years of experience in hydraulic physical modelling projects.
