Responsibilities:
- Provide healthcare services for admissions, case management, discharge planning, and utilization review.
- Review service requests for prospective, concurrent, and retrospective medical necessity and reimbursement policy compliance.
- Assist staff with coding, documentation, precertification, reimbursement, and claim denial issues.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire.
- Requires a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and professional licensure at time of hire.
Additional Details:
- Schedule is Monday to Friday with options for four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.
- This is a remote position covering all St. Vincent's facilities.
