Remote Patient Access Representative - Emergency Department

The Main Campus Emergency Department provides top-quality care to patients 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The number of resources at the Main Campus Emergency Department is vast with pharmacy, respiratory, care management, imaging, a split flow/fast-track area, and a Clinical Decision Unit. A caregiver in this position works nights, remotely from 9:30pm—6:00am, with rotating weekend and holiday requirements. This role will require you to work a second-shift schedule onsite for the first 90 days of the new hire period. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Perform registration and obtain information about demographics, insurance, medical and financial information. Cross-train to staff all areas of patient access, such as front desk, admitting office, ED and cash register. Function as a Super User and act as a resource for training of new caregivers. Provide registration and cash collection access in Epic.
