Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer focused on backend development, you will play a key role on a nimble, small team building the next version of our client's services platform. You will focus on writing clean, efficient, and scalable Python and Django code to support the delivery of our client's innovative solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness and scalability of our services, making a meaningful impact on the future of the client's offerings.
You will design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable software systems. Write high-quality, maintainable code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements. Take ownership of complex technical projects from design through delivery. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to build solutions aligned with business goals. Troubleshoot and resolve challenging issues to ensure performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Mentor and support junior developers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing. Contribute to planning, prioritization, and estimation to ensure smooth execution and realistic timelines. Create and maintain clear, thorough technical documentation. Stay current with technologies and tools, and share insights that inform technical direction.
