Senior Data Operations Engineer (Snowflake Expert)

Seeking a skilled lead Data Ops Engineer with expertise in Data Ops or Data Engineering, SQL, system automation, and Python to join our team. Responsibilities include designing the proper data architecture, implementing automation, and be the mentor and leader for the Data & Analytics team. Focus on Snowflake administration: Tasks, Shares, Integrations, Ingestion, Actions, RBAC, Optimizations, FinOps. Utilize Git for version control and collaboration on codebase. Help design a scalable, reliable, and secure data architecture. Build and integrate ELT and ETL workflows into our production environment. Support and maintain existing legacy pipelines (Oracle, SQLServer, others). Establish observability tools and practices to monitor deployment processes, data integrity, and system health. Identify opportunities to modernize our systems and tech stack, improve quality, and minimize technical debt. Review team’s work, code, and architecture. Articulate and lead technical issues, constraints, and risks; involve in critical decision-making in the data & analytics domain. Be a role model for organizing and documenting critical information for the team. Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and repeatability of processes.
