As part of the Self Financial Data Engineering Team, your role will be to ensure that data remains a strategic asset for Self Financial by delivering timely, high-quality, and purpose-built data to our team members. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing data models and populating data schemas within Self Financial's data environment for use in business intelligence and data analysis activities.

As an Analytics Engineer within the Biostatistics team, you'll establish and manage robust, scalable pipelines for data analysis and infrastructure, optimize Posit environments on AWS, and champion reproducible analytic workflows. Aside from working closely with your fellow Biostatistics teammates, you’ll collaborate with AI platform, AI model development, and platform engineering teams.

The Senior Data Engineer will partner with function leaders to discover, plan, build, and monitor business automation. The responsibility is to create, manage, optimize, oversee, and monitor data pipelines that transform data from source systems, cleanse source data, and ultimately insert cleansed data into target systems, supporting data-driven decisions.

You'll play a key role in finding important insights in large datasets, creating engaging data charts, and also helping to build and improve the core Python tools and libraries. The data science team uses it every day. You'll work closely with experienced data scientists, helping them understand complex data, share findings clearly, and make the analytical codebase even better.

Design and implement ML models for business needs like forecasting, recommendation systems, pricing, and churn. Perform EDA to identify trends, anomalies, and relationships in the data. Collaborate with stakeholders to define problems, success metrics, and data needs. Build scalable and maintainable ML workflows and ensure smooth model deployment. Monitor model performance and retrain when needed to ensure reliability.

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, overseeing project execution, and facilitating their professional growth. Architect and implement robust, high-quality code in Python, enforcing best practices for software development and version control using Git. Deploy and monitor machine learning projects in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance over time.

As a Data Engineer, you will help manage and deliver clinical datasets to our customers, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and usability throughout the process. This role requires someone who enjoys working with a mix of tools, processes, and lightweight scripting to get things done. Your responsibilities will include operating and supporting internal data workflows, monitoring and improving data operation pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

As an analytics engineer you will be responsible for both implementing new analytics infrastructure and making improvements to our existing systems. You will ensure delivery of solutions on-schedule following modern best practices, using DBT, continuous integration, linting and testing. This position requires you to deliver clean, maintainable, and extensible code and interface with operators to understand their needs.
