Data Tester

Estuate is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Tester to join their Hyderabad team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL testing, SQL scripting, and Python-based data validation. You will work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and QA teams to ensure the quality and integrity of data across our systems. Key responsibilities include: Performing ETL testing to validate data pipelines, transformations, and data loading processes. Writing complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target data mappings and ensure data accuracy. Developing Python scripts for data validation, automation, and test case execution. Creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications. Working closely with developers and data teams to understand data flows and identify testing needs. Performing data quality checks and ensuring compliance with business rules. Logging defects, tracking resolution, and conducting regression testing. Participating in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
