Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and maintain all Risk Management Framework phases for assigned Navy and Marine Corps Intranet systems.
• Assist in developing security documentation like System Security Plans and collaborate with the Information System Security Manager.
• Provide security guidance and training to system users while working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, with 3+ years of ISSO experience in a DoD environment.
• Preferred DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification and strong understanding of NIST 800-53 security controls and security assessment tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; no travel required.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Pay range is $103,000 to $108,000 annually, based on existing skills and experience.
