Job Description
As an Observability Engineer, you'll monitor and analyze the performance of production systems, creating high-quality alerts to improve incident detection and prevention, using tools like AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog, or Dynatrace. You will leverage prior experience in software development to understand the solutionβs architecture and identify opportunities to enable monitoring and custom alerts, with a preference for languages such as Java and/or Golang. The role involves investigating real-world production issues using reported metrics to identify root causes, collaborating with the application team and working closely with development teams to improve the reliability and performance of services.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience with performance monitoring tools and a background in software development with a solid understanding of architecture and system integration. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and/or Golang, experience with SRE practices and DevOps culture, and experience in troubleshooting and solving production issues are highly valued. Advanced oral and written communication skills in English are essential, and familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker or other containerization technologies is a plus.
