Security Engineer

Your Role:

• Take ownership of protecting the product, users, and collaborators.
• Work hands-on across application security, risk & compliance, and security awareness.
• Report directly to the Security Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly code reviews, track and drive remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate external security audits and penetration tests.
• Maintain risk register, support audit follow-up, keep GRC documentation up to date.
• Communicate new threats, run phishing simulations, and security training.
• Set up and secure new employee devices, manage access provisioning.
• Monitor AI-specific threats and track incidents from third-party AI providers.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience in application security (code review, vulnerability management).
• Experience coordinating or conducting penetration tests/security audits.
• Comfortable shipping code and working with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Scripting/automation skills.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English.
• Goal-oriented, ownership, doer mindset, humble.
• Comfortable with NSFW content.
