Security Engineer

Your mission:

• Identify and reduce security risks across n8n's product, AI systems, and internal infrastructure using threat modeling and hands-on expertise.
• Help move security from reactive management to a proactive, scalable practice as a trusted partner to teams across the business.

What you'll drive:

• Threat modeling and risk assessments across product features, AI agents, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.
• Vulnerability management and coordinated disclosure, including triage, remediation, and security advisories.
• Security operations, monitoring, incident readiness, and SOC 2 compliance engineering.

What you bring:

• Hands-on security engineering experience in product, infrastructure, or application security.
• Expertise in at least two areas such as application security, platform security, corporate security, monitoring, or compliance.
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and explain complex risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
