Frontend Engineer

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the Ecosystem department. This role involves developing and maintaining frontend components for projects like ESPHome, Music Assistant, and the Device Database. As a frontend engineer, you will implement and maintain frontend components, working with various team members. Responsibilities include conducting code reviews, collaborating with engineering, design, and product teams, and improving the frontend codebase. You will also engage with the community by addressing user-reported issues and preparing tasks for community contributors. The role requires 3+ years of TypeScript experience, PWA development experience, and familiarity with frontend frameworks like Lit, React, Angular, or Vue. European residency is required.
