Engineering Lead

Cents is hiring for an Engineering Lead to join our growing in-house team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform. Working directly with our most senior leadership, this person will play a key role in defining and prioritizing high-impact platform enhancements while guiding a team of engineers to deliver exceptional results. As Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for executing and managing the product roadmap set by our team, specifically in leading complex projects that improve functionality and reliability for our customers. Beyond managing the team, you’ll also be hands-on, contributing to code and ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and customer-focused. The ideal candidate for this role is excited to lead, mentor, and innovate in a fast-growing company. Responsibilities include working with the VP of Engineering and Chief Product Officer to define and scope high-impact platform improvements. You will lead and manage a team of 5-7 software engineers to deliver results at a high level of quality, make hands-on code contributions to your team’s projects, guide the growth & development of engineers with mentoring, training and performance management, and design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable systems that are critical to our customers’ success.
