Enterprise Security Architect, Identity & Access Management

The Security team’s mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity-as-a- Service solution by identifying and resolving risks to employees, the product, and customers. As the Enterprise Security Architect specializing in Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will be the foremost security authority shaping Okta's internal IAM security strategy. This critical leadership role involves defining, guiding, and implementing the overarching security architecture for Okta's own enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with modern Zero Trust principles. Key responsibilities include defining and leading IAM security strategy, driving IAM maturity, architecting secure solutions, conducting risk assessments, influencing technology direction, innovating and researching new technologies, and communicating the enterprise IAM security architecture to stakeholders. Requires 10+ years in information security, with a deep focus on security architecture, modern Identity & Access Management (IAM), enterprise security strategy, and solutions architecture within complex organizations.
