Job Description
Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of senior data engineers. Own the architecture, development, and operation of data platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Automate platform operations and streamline data workflows to increase efficiency and minimize manual intervention. Act as the first point of contact for other data engineering teams on topics like platform usage, data modeling, pipeline design, and general data engineering best practices. Collaborate cross-functionally to set standards and champion data engineering excellence across the organization, including security concepts. Remain hands-on by architecting, coding, reviewing, and deploying critical data infrastructure solutions. Drive adoption of modern tooling, including GenAI-assisted coding, while applying critical thinking to recommendations and outputs.
