Job Description
Develop electric distribution design packages per Electric Utilitiesβ standards and specifications. Use PoleForeman for pole loading calculations and structural analysis. Produce designs using Autodesk Utility Design (AUD) and ArcFM, incorporating GIS data and field notes. Navigate INFOR EFD for work management and tracking. Apply NESC, NEC, and utility criteria for clearance, conductor selection, and construction unit application.
Create material lists, construction notes, and supporting documentation for work order packages. Coordinate with cross-functional utility teams. Review and QA/QC design deliverables to ensure accuracy and constructability. Provide cost estimates and design metrics as required.
Participate in occasional field investigations to validate existing conditions and gather design inputs. Communicate with client representatives, municipalities, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of PPE during site visits.
