Senior/Staff TypeScript Engineer

About the Role:

• We're looking for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer proficient in TypeScript, strong on the backend, and comfortable across the full stack.
• You'll join a small engineering team and take ownership of architecture, implementation, and delivery.
• You'll collaborate directly with enterprise customers to translate their needs into product capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and ship production features across Vallor's TypeScript stack.
• Own backend services, APIs, integrations, data flows, and serverless infrastructure on AWS.
• Contribute to the frontend when needed using Next.js and TypeScript.

What We're Looking For:

• Senior or Staff-level software engineering experience with deep TypeScript skills.
• Strong backend engineering using Node.js or Bun, and experience with AWS and serverless architecture.
• Ability to work directly with customers and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent English communication.

What Success Looks Like:

• In your first three months, you'll become familiar with Vallor's platform and take ownership of deliverables for a major customer.
• You'll work closely with stakeholders to implement required functionality and eventually move beyond the initial roadmap.
• You'll help improve the platform's architecture and scale the product and engineering organization.
