Senior Frontend Engineer (Contractor)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and ship pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces from Figma using React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Own features end-to-end from design handoff through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Build complex, validated forms using React Hook Form and ensure mobile-first UX.

Quality and Craft:

• Own frontend testing across unit, integration, and e2e layers using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Drive frontend quality standards and best practices, optimizing performance, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals.
• Extend and customize Material UI components with advanced CSS.

Collaboration and Iteration:

• Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering in an async-first environment.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Ship MVPs quickly and iterate based on customer feedback.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years building production React apps with TypeScript and Material UI.
• Expert-level experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query.
• Advanced CSS3 skills and hands-on ownership of frontend testing.
