Senior Robotics Solutions Engineer

Field Discovery:

• Establish equipment and controls baseline for a cell: robot model, controller, safety architecture, and constraints.
• Gather undocumented system details through targeted questioning and observation.

Robot Control and Motion:

• Design, build, and commission motion logic for palletizing and sortation.
• Handle motion sequencing, pick and place, stacking patterns, and recovery from failures.

Safety and Integration:

• Own functional safety end to end: risk assessment, safeguarding, and documentation for customer sign-off.
• Integrate command and telemetry between PackageX and robot controllers, PLCs, and conveyors.

Handoff and Enablement:

• Deliver documentation, test coverage, and internal training to make the work durable PackageX capability.
• Communicate scope constraints early with evidence to avoid crises.
