The Communications Officer will be crucial in supporting and managing the development and execution of communication strategies at Ocean Visions. The role involves creating and distributing content across various channels to effectively communicate the organization's mission, programs, and impact to diverse audiences. The Officer will report to the Senior Communications Director and may collaborate with other Ocean Visions team members.
Key responsibilities include supporting content strategy development, drafting copy for e-newsletters, web pages, social media, and press releases, and leading media outreach. The role also involves managing event communications, tracking e-newsletter performance, supporting social media strategy, and contributing to website improvements. The Officer will assist in creating multimedia content and ensuring brand consistency across all communications.
