Substation Physical Designer

This experienced Designer will handle the physical design of high voltage substation projects through 500kv. The designer will focus on safety, cost, quality and reliability. Designs and detailed engineering deliverables working are done under the supervision of a lead engineer. Responsibilities include detailing physical aspects of the engineering design, completing basic engineering calculations, and using standard CAD tools. The designer will also perform detailed calculations, inspect completed installations, and prepare technical drawings. Travel to job sites may be needed.
