Cloud Security Consultant (Azure)

The Cloud Security Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of Azure-based systems and infrastructure. They will implement and manage security controls, monitor for threats and vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents in Azure cloud environments. The Cloud Security Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams such as the Enterprise architecture and IT Operations teams to establish and maintain a robust Azure cloud security posture. Key responsibilities include implementing and managing security controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with cloud architects, developing security policies, conducting security audits, managing IAM controls, and assisting with security assessments. They will also respond to security incidents, stay updated with emerging threats, and provide guidance on cloud security best practices. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the Azure cloud platform, familiarity with security services and tools, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
