Senior BI Analyst

Dashboard Design and Development:

• Build, publish, and maintain dashboards in Tableau and Amazon QuickSight for operational and executive audiences.
• Apply strong visual design principles to create immediately usable dashboards with clear hierarchy and intentional color.
• Optimize performance by managing SPICE vs. Direct Query in QuickSight and live vs. extract connections in Tableau.

Stakeholder Partnership and Insight Delivery:

• Engage directly with internal business stakeholders to understand decisions and translate them into actionable dashboards.
• Distill findings into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Maintain lightweight documentation describing what each dashboard answers and its data ownership.

Collaboration with Data Engineering:

• Partner with onshore and offshore data engineers to define and refine analytics-ready data sources.
• Write own SQL for ad-hoc analysis, prototyping, and data validation.
• Articulate data needs to prioritize the data engineering backlog.

Quality, Iteration, and Continuous Improvement:

• Validate dashboard numbers against source systems and surface discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor usage and gather feedback; retire or rework underperforming dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate redundant reports and migrate legacy content between BI platforms.
