Job Description
The Assistant Career & Technical Education Principal directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of high school students by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities. Helps articulate the schoolβs mission and vision with the aim of ensuring all stakeholders have a common understanding and are positioned to work cooperatively to achieve desired results. The role ensures the school is meeting the needs of students while complying with local, state, and federal laws regarding special education and other categorical programs.
Supervises and evaluates teaching staff, manages teacher performance, developing and providing necessary training to support their professional development, and manages Master and Lead Teachers and programs. Position requires ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.
