About the Role:

  • Full-time policy intern supporting FREOPP's research on safety net, workforce, child welfare, and housing.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a nonprofit think tank environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research, produce charts, and prepare memos.
  • Assist with FOIA requests and coordinate research projects.
  • Provide administrative support for events and scholar outreach.

Qualifications:

  • 0-4 years in policy research or related field.
  • Strong data skills in Excel and another platform (R, Python, Stata).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to handle feedback.

Compensation:

  • Stipend of $7,500 for full-time (32 hrs/week) participation.
  • Remote work within the US, with required attendance at KIP programming.
