BIM Specialist

The BIM Specialist is part of the production team that supports all levels of the engineering team across multiple disciplines. This individual supports the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through record drawing submittals. This individual must learn the fundamentals of technology systems such as telecommunications infrastructure, cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks. They will therefore participate in the TEECOMuniversity in-house training program, including Bridge courses and one-on-one or group sessions. They will provide documentation and communication support, and will be involved in problem solving and teamwork. Essential duties include learning the building design process, assisting with project production, and identifying automation tools.
