As an entry-level production role, the BIM Specialist supports all levels of the engineering team across multiple disciplines. They support the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through record drawing submittals. This individual must learn the fundamentals of technology systems such as telecommunications infrastructure, cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks.
As a senior-level engineering role, the Principal Consultant leads large, complex projects spanning multiple disciplines. They work with clients, product manufacturers, contractors, other design team members, and other employees to take each project from start to finish with limited direction. This entails providing detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations and reporting information to the client. Projects are expected to be completed on time and on budget.
In this mid-level engineering role, the Associate works with their mentor to design projects in the Telecom discipline, providing detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and report information to clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while delegating work effectively and promoting teamwork.
In the mid-level Designer engineering role, the Designer II will be proficient in their production skills in Revit and will have a basic understanding of one or more of the disciplines. This individual supports or manages the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through record drawing submittals.
