Forward Deployed AI Architect (GenAI, AWS)

About the role:

• Provectus is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Architect to work embedded inside client operations in Financial Services and Healthcare.
• You will spend the first weeks of an engagement doing the customer's job yourself to understand the process from the inside.
• You will build and ship production GenAI systems using Claude, agentic workflows, and AWS, and own the outcome against business KPIs.

Requirements:

• 8+ years building software with a substantial share of production code, and hands-on today.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, cloud-native delivery on AWS (containers, Kubernetes, ECS, IaC, CI/CD).
• Experience shipping GenAI/LLM systems to production and building evaluation suites for non-deterministic systems.

What you’ll do:

• Take the operator's seat to learn the function from the inside, then redesign it from first principles alongside the operator and a Forward Deployed Executive.
• Build production GenAI systems across the stack, including backend services, data pipelines, and the AI layer, and deliver them on AWS.
• Drive adoption and measure your work against business unit KPIs, not hours or scope delivered.
