Games Medical Director - Contractor

The Medical Director will independently design and direct medical strategies, coordinate medical staffing, and ensure compliance with applicable medical standards and regulations. The individual will operate as an independent contractor and retain full authority over all clinical and medical judgments. Strategic and Advisory Functions include developing and overseeing implementation of the Games medical operations plan, exercising independent medical judgment in all clinical matters. The ideal candidate must have an active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in California, or eligibility to obtain prior to the Games and board certification in a primary specialty such as Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, as well as Sports Medicine.
