Configuration Manager - Lead (100% Remote - REF1838T)

Citizant is looking for an experienced Configuration Management Lead to support the IRS customer at a fully remote location. The Configuration Manager Lead will lead a small team responsible for all aspects of configuration management of a software development project. Responsibilities include providing configuration management support, including code versioning and coordination of application transmittals across various environments. The candidate will coordinate the integration and deployment of multiple development teams’ software/code to consolidate for test/production environment installation and/or testing. The Configuration Manager Lead will also participate in the planning, scheduling, and installation of software and interface with system administrators to debug software deployment issues. Required competencies include familiarity with Agile Software Development and a Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery Pipeline. A deep understanding of Configuration Management Principles and experience supporting CM in a complex software development environment is needed. Experience with Linux, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Rational Tools, Jira, and Confluence is a plus. A minimum of 4 years of Configuration Management experience, Java builds and deployments, and IRS experience is preferred. The ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance is required.
