SEO Strategist (Consultant)

About the Role:

• You will lead the SEO recovery strategy for a national real estate company after a significant Google penalty.
• This is a freelance contract role with a 3-month trial period and potential for long-term engagement.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct a full site audit and deliver a prioritized task list within the first 30 days.
• Manage a small team of freelancers (Dev, Junior SEO, Content) via Asana with clear task specifications.
• Join two calls per month with the CEO and two with the SEO team, plus frequent check-ins on Microsoft Teams.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven track record recovering sites from Google algorithmic penalties, with case studies and data.
• Experience with national-scope sites and familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, Kinsta, Cloudflare, and RankMath.
• Strong communication and management skills to direct freelancers and present to CEO-level stakeholders.
