Communications Manager, Walrus

Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, this role will provide strategic and executional support to Walrus, the recently launched decentralized data layer. As one of the founding members of a small marketing team, this role will represent the fundamental values of Mysten Labs: solving big problems, carrying the box and operating with integrity. You will play a cross-functional role, sitting at the intersection of highly visible and crucial teams, including Marketing & Communications, Partnerships, Product, Legal, and Leadership. While this role focuses on Walrus, you will collaborate closely with various members of the Sui ecosystem, including the Sui Foundation. The role involves executing communication strategies aligned with Walrus’s business objectives, collaborating with ecosystem partners, driving strategic initiatives, building profiles of Walrus spokespersons, planning and executing announcements, writing and editing high-quality content and supporting conference and event planning.
