Senior Software Development Test Engineer (SDET)

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Software Development Test Engineer (SDET) to join our team at LifeStance. As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts. This position demands a forward-thinking approach and shift-left mentality to drive quality excellence across the organization. Develop and champion the long-term vision and strategy for test automation across the organization. Architect and implement advanced, data-driven test automation frameworks that use AI/ML to identify and prioritize test cases. Lead teams in the design, development, and maintenance of robust automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools for functional, integration, and regression testing. Lead and facilitate the 'shift-left' quality strategy across multiple product teams. Develop and execute performance, scalability, and load tests to ensure the software meets performance standards. Define and document test strategies, create detailed test plans, and execute manual and automated tests. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines. Drive the automation strategy for a portfolio of business-critical applications, including our web applications and the Salesforce platform Define and report on key quality metrics, with a goal of reducing production defects by 20% year-over-year. Mentor and lead the professional development of junior and mid-level SDETs.
