Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Vetcove is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead critical initiatives that bring machine learning into the core of our platform. You’ll design, build, and deploy models that drive clinical insights, financial outcomes, and operational efficiency for veterinary practices. You’ll collaborate with engineering leadership, product managers, and veterinary professionals to scope problems, design solutions, and deploy them into production. This role involves designing and deploying production ML systems, building evaluation frameworks, integrating models into the platform, and incorporating LLMs. You will own ML pipelines and data workflows, support real-time and batch use cases, and mentor other team members.
