Role Focus:

  • Build a single source of truth for product metrics and define core activation and retention definitions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous business questions into actionable analysis.
  • Improve reporting trust by establishing governance processes to catch data issues early.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the measurement foundation, including metric systems that connect leading indicators to business outcomes.
  • Analyze user funnels and journeys for onboarding and key workflows to identify high-impact fixes.
  • Conduct cohort analysis on engagement and retention to understand feature adoption and power-user behaviors.
  • Create dashboards and write clear readouts that enable teams to make decisions quickly.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product analytics experience in a SaaS product environment with strong SQL skills.
  • Proficiency with user analytics tooling like Mixpanel or Amplitude for dashboarding and instrumentation.
  • Strong technical fluency to collaborate with engineers on data modeling and event data.
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain findings to both executives and engineers and influence without authority.
