Director of Engineering, Product

What You’ll Do:

• Work with engineers on key technical decisions, break ties, and escalate short-term decisions.
• Maintain alignment between product and engineering and coordinate multiple work streams.
• Define and track engineering performance metrics while upholding a culture of quality.

What We're Looking For:

• You have strong expertise in building data products with complex backend logic.
• At least 10 years of hands on backend development under the belt.
• Champion our culture of proactivity, engagement, teamwork, and kindness.

How We Evaluate Your Candidacy:

• Hiring Manager Interview - 45 minutes: introductory interview with our CTO focused on your unique approach to engineering leadership.
• CEO Introduction + Engineering Leadership - 60 minutes: dive into your ability to act as a leader as we expand the engineering team.
• Virtual Onsite - 2.5 hours: You'll have the opportunity to meet our 2 engineering managers/directors, 2 tech leads, and a VP of product.
