Principal Security Engineer

Upstart’s Security team advances security practices to enhance the safety of our products, customers, and partners, believing that security empowers innovation and moves at the speed of business. As a Principal Security Engineer, you will lead complex, high-impact security initiatives across our products, services, infrastructure, and enterprise. You will collaborate to implement security patterns that reduce risk and enable developers, mentor engineers, foster a strong security culture, and promote security excellence. You'll continually assess Upstart’s security risk posture, influence priorities, monitor emerging threats, and ensure Upstart remains one step ahead.
