Sr. Applications Engineer

The Sr. Applications Engineer provides high-level engineering expertise, project management, and commercial support for the application of Starline high-amperage busduct products across customer projects. This role leads technical strategy, mentors junior engineers, and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The engineer is responsible for drafting product offers, resolving technical issues, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Essential functions include maintaining expert-level knowledge of products, designing system layouts, utilizing AutoCAD, developing technical documentation, and providing technical support to sales teams and customers. The role also involves leading technical strategy, driving continuous improvement, participating in customer meetings, drafting technical offers, supporting project management, and mentoring junior engineers. Additional duties include conducting onsite measurements, serving as a technical liaison to the sales team, delivering training on products, and supporting the Service Group during installations.
