Role Overview:
- Serve as a senior hands-on technical owner for solutions transforming real-world EMR data into reliable, standardized clinical data.
- Design and deliver data engineering and clinical NLP pipelines integrating structured and unstructured data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of pipelines for EMR integration and clinical narrative processing.
- Implement entity and relationship extraction workflows, terminology normalization, and clinical context interpretation.
- Build and evaluate hybrid approaches using rules, dictionaries, deep learning, and LLMs.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in NLP, machine learning, or applied AI, with 3+ years in clinical NLP on real-world EHR data.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills, plus hands-on OMOP CDM and OHDSI vocabulary experience.
- Experience with transformer models, LLM-based clinical extraction, and production deployment.
